HUNGARORING - BUDAPEST - HUNGARY Grand Prix 2009 - Race 10/17

Iam going to go be bold and predict a few of the off beat teams doing very well this weekend. Last gp saw a masisive improvement by Mclaren and think that they will repeat or better the qualifiying postion of last gp. Also keep an eye on Alonso. I think F1 would beenfit a lot if we had five teams fighting it out for the rest of the seaon.

I think in terms of enjoyable races then you are completely right :)

As for the excitement of the Championships then I think it's wrong. The more teams that are taking points off of Red Bull and Brawn then the less likely anyone can even get close to Button and Brawn for the Championships

I really really hope Red Bull can keep up their current form and get another 1 & 2 finish.

Season needs to go on for as long as possible and the ONLY way that can happen is if Red Bull continue taking the top 2 podium spots for at least the next few races.

no to make the end of the season interesting Brawn have to rediscover their form - otherwise it wont make any difference and it will still be one team dominating

If the results become more predictable either way then its boring - its interesting when its topsy turvy

but if Brawn rediscover their form for this race and obtain a 1 - 2 finish then the season is more or less over in terms of the Championship.

Until the two teams are more or less equal in the standings and then the cars are then made about equal, then we won't have an exciting championship (championship not races)

Qualifiying is going to make or brake both teams.

Barrichello 2nd - you must be joking!!!

Even if thats the case the climate should be optimal for Brawn - if thats the case and RB STILL manage to win, whats the rest of the year going to be.....more than likely more wins for RB are more likely than a sudden resurgence for Brawn

The ONLY interest is if there is continual change, with two (or more) teams continually challanging

Im all for exciting RACES, who cares about the Championship (from an entertainment point of view) if the races are boring

Jaime Alguersuari just did an exploration lap lol safety car probably would have lapped him, i dont know how they can let him race tommorow.

hes only ever done 2 straight line tests, first time he went around a corner was just now pulling out of the pit garage lol

Nothing wrong with going slow on your first ever lap in an F1 car, at Hungaroring.

Just as long as he reduces his laptime throughout the weekend.

It will be very interesting to see how the Brawns compare with the RedBulls. This weekend will be the first in a while, where we have hot weather conditions. If the RedBulls can beat the Brawn cars on a hot track, then Button/BrawnGP will have to do damage limitation for the rest of the season and hope the RedBull cars keep taking points off of eachother (which is highly possible).

By not picking a driver now, I do feel that RedBull are reducing their chances of winning the WDC.

1013: This will be music to Brawn's ears. Seb Vettel reports that the tyres on his Red Bull are overheating and he has no grip. The German is currently ninth quickest, while his team-mate Mark Webber leads the way.

Wonder how much truth is in that - given that MW is leading the way (ok Friday times rarely mean much) but IF SV is struggling after a few laps.....
