Yup, a mixture of larger tanks and teams having to sometimes race bearing in mind they may need to conserve some fuel, like the late 80s / early 90s!

Although they dropped the ball yesterday with the FM incident. Broadcasters in at least France, Italy and Mexico stuck with the live feed, saw replays etc and all we got was Jake ignoring the incident entirely!

Well that was completely spoiled. Martin's pit walk is great to watch. Why do we have to have that Irish idiot getting his two cents in everywhere. I hope they don't renew his contract next year.

Not really. Refuelling has always been on and off in F1. I remember the 5.5 second pit stops in the early 90s when cars dashed in for tyres. Was much more interesting, because it forces drivers to overtake more as an element of strategy is removed.

Also gets rid of all this crapness where someone is on pole because they've fuelled so light, eg Alonso today..

Have they changed the fuel adjusted grid? Thought it used to show the distance between the cars relative to their fuel adjusted time?

From a race point of view this needs Hamilton to get to the front at turn 1. If he don't then the red bulls will just run off once Alonso comes in.
