Hungary Grand Prix 2011, Hungaroring Circuit - Race 11/19

i remember that year hamilton was overdring a dog mclaren and made loads of mistakes, seems very similar to the more recent schumacher imo.

I think you are talking about 2009.

In that year, Hamilton still beat his team mate (the only other driver with the same equipment), by a comfortable margin.

MSc is not in the same class as Hamilton, Vettel or Alonso.

What you are seeing now is a driver who is a mere shadow of his former self.

Hamilton looking pretty good in the cold and damp. Expect things to turn around if it gets hotter.

Looks like the top three teams are really closely matched on this track and in these conditions. Fingers crossed that continues through to the race.

I think RBR have plenty to come.
Hungary and Barcelona are RBR tracks, so it will be a massive shock to the top teams if RBR do not dominate here.

With Vettel's current dip in form, I expect Webber to finish ahead of Vettel in the race (unless something extra ordinary happens or we get a full wet race).

If Ferrari/Alonso can beat RBR this weekend, on merit, then the title race is open.

alonso seems to think otherwise and keeps syaing schumacher will win races if he gets a car capable of challenging for wins.

Well, even if MSc has the best car on the track, he will still have to beat his own team-mate. And given the last 20 odd races, MSc is not yet capable of consistently beating his team-mate.

If anybody is going to challenge for race wins, it will be Rosberg...and I don't rate Rosberg too highly.
