Hunt: Showdown (Crytek)

@SixTwoSix another to try if you get a code, it's got potential for a decent co-op session, 1 shot reload shotguns and revolvers make you panic sometimes, as a monster is charging at you or pops out of no where and jumps you.

How’s it look?

Pretty impressive.

It's cryengine so naturally looks better than most games. The only problem with the visuals at the moment is some object/texture pop in and the fact it's using a weak form of AA which seemingly has no effect on tree's and vegetation. I got around this by using Nvidia DSR to upscale to 4k and then applied higher than usual DSR smoothing to make trees etc look better. It's a good looking game.

I read somewhere that the alpha has everything forced to low/medium settings so i expect the finished thing to look even better and run even worse lol.

The game has potential but the gunplay and controls are far from great at the moment and the AI zombeis etc seem a bit pointless.

I’ve been replaying crysis 3 and far cry 4 and still look amazing. so would be expecting similar in the released version when it’s ready.

patch has come out but the game is still ruining my rig at 4k, think I'll wait until more optimised / drivers from NVIDIA arrive.
