Hunt: Showdown (Crytek)

Loving this game really atmospheric and tense when you get into it, the mic play and the sound / environment are really immersive, it has loads of potential. Running well now on my system

Played a few hours now, rank 6. Absolutely loving it, day one purchase which is rare for me these days. A few frustrations with getting into a game, menu and character selection is a bit confusing at first but the atmosphere and some of the moments in those few hours have sold it it to me.

Longevity could be a problem, I hope there is a lot more on release and its not all DLC and micro transactions

I put a few hrs in and enjoyed it. It's basically a better looking and atmospheric PUBG with a dangerous environment and an actual objective.

The only thing I don't like is the persistent character/permadeath thing. It just means new players will get wrecked by experienced players as time goes on.

Have you played it?
Yes of course performance was really bad on a 1080, gunplay was clunky, 10 people only maps, cheaters, monsters super weak, tons of network issues. It has good atmosphere and graphics but that's all imo, it gets old quickly. Not to mention it went from beta EA to paid EA in a matter of hours! I thought that was really weird, not even a content update.

Edit: They also tried to improve performance by totally wrecking the LOD, everything popping in as you walk which ruined the only good thing about it, immersion.
