You also don't seem to realise that it is countries like us that stay clean by moving industry to places like china, so that other peoples air and land is ruined for cheaper. It is very easy to blame China for the worlds pollution but imagine how the world will grind to a halt if they stopped a lot of the dirty manufacturing and lowered power consumption to the point where they couldn't supply the rest of the world with goods and parts.

China maybe a big polluter when you look at a stats sheet but they are also one of the leading countries in developing greener industries.

But the western countries are the biggest consumers. And they do buy a lof of things which actually they don't need.
The whole system is borked. But no worries, Nature will step up and fix the wrong things

I really hope I'm around to see the next 30 years or so of climate change - I think people on both sides of that argument are going to be confounded.

It isn't about the global warming alone. We are depleting the natural resources faster than the Planet is capable to renew them.
Multiple species are already extinct or on the edge to disappear forever.

You are making stuff up now just to validate you're hate for the west. I think you will find that there are areas of the world that have enough oil to last them 500 years, yes that doesnt help global warming but to suggest we are depleting earths resources quicker than it can renew them is utter garbage.

The massive use of clean water for industrial scale farming?

And people are keen on fracking in this country too with the horrendous waste of water that it takes.
