For the last time, it was broadcast live on their TV news channel, you know the one that has probably got a good few million people watching it, i wonder how many of them now think a hurricane is like being nuked?
It was idiotic to allow it on air, and they continued using the "Nuclear Hurricane" headline well into the night, without the Mayor's help, it was their main ticker "Nuclear Hurricane" even when reporting a different news item. Is that responsible broadcasting knowing millions are viewing?
I give up if you think it is responsible broadcasting.
Whilst praising the most disingenuous and journalistically atrocious 'news' channel Fox News!! lawl It's pathetic
Who has praised Fox news?
What? where did you get that from. Are you drunk?
Where have i mentioned anyone of them in this thread? Where have i picked one over the other.Like I said, it's a live on TV, you want them to beep him like a swear word? If are going to do that, they would beep Conway or Spicer or Trump every time they say a lie. There would be an awful lot of beeping.
You can't have one and not the other.
trump
Where have i mentioned anyone of them in this thread? Where have i picked one over the other.
I have not even brought Trump or anyone associated to him at all into this thread, so why are you mentioning these people?
I couldnt give a toss, i pointed out irresponsible broadcasting, you brought you're anti trump crap into this in you're first post i think it was, just like CRAZY did.You haven't, I did, I just want to make it fair. You like fair right? So if they are going to beep the mayor for saying something sensational, or a lie, then they should beep everyone. Like Conway, like Trump, anyone.
That way, the channel will be totally factually correct, in the moment, nothing sensational, correcting the interviewee on the spot. You would be happy with that right?
I couldnt give a toss, i pointed out irresponsible broadcasting, you brought you're anti trump crap into this in you're first post i think it was, just like CRAZY did.
It really gets boring.
Storm surge now predicted to be 10-15 feet along the SW coast of Florida.
:/
If you didn't "give a toss" then why did you brought up about CNN in the first place?
It's just a single quote from an interview, not even a front page headline. Nobody would care or did care, and even if people did and got scared and left the state, it means they are potentially safer than they were if they had stayed so in a way, its a good thing. So the end result would hardly be a negative one.
That's lower than I thought, Katrina's was over 30ft.
Well... the eye is supposed to go right over me... everything that can turn into a missile has been stored and everything in the garage.
Rather anxious now
CNN is saying Irma is heading towards Florida as a category 3. Wasn't it back up to category 5 earlier? That's quite a downgrade in such a short space of time. Hopefully it stays that way or gets even weaker before it hits Florida.
