No ghosting here either.

I've tested the tft out on the extended edition dvd of return of the king, half life 2 and moh: pacific assault. All ran beautifully.
I'm running moh at the tfts optimum resolution but im running HL2 at 1024x768. HL2 looks sweet even when its running at 1024x768...no issues at all.
If anybody wants photos, i can take some.

oh, i have one dead pixel...a green one. its pretty invisible on a white background and it sits on the bottom right of the screen so im not worried.

Basically this screen is amazing:) well worth the money.

are u using analogue or dvi?

and to all those saying the tft is amazing, u guys using dvi i presume?

and all those complaining (very few it seems) ure using analogue?

I might buy 1 of these but I'm not happy at all with the dead pixel thing...

and I'm buying a new pc with a geforce 6800 GT card and I kindof feel a 1280x1024 tft might not use its max potential?

Believe it or not, the drivers are on the CD that came with the screen.

Yer i no that. i went to this model and there is a drivers folder but it has 3 files
1. This is a INF file for installing monitors for Windows.
2, 2 icc profiles files

How the hell do iinstall the drivers from this, i thought there would be just an application file where i click and it installs it for me

And yes im using the dvi input

Its juts i plugged this babyin played cod with it and its awful at the moment

So do i need to install any drivers and if so how?
Thanks any1:D

I have been sitting on the fence for the past few days but have just this minute ordered one, I hope that I am one of the lucky few who have no pixel defects but knowing my luck there will be two dead pixes right next to each other in the dead centre of the screen. Downloaded a program called dead pixel tester, is there any other or better programs available to check for screen problems?

mine seems fine, im not sure how you test for dead pixels but i havent spotted anything odd in 2 days of pretty constant use so im presuming its all good. Now i just need a decent gfx card to properly test it :)

lol dont assume the monitor is bad, thats just one person having problems, the rest of us are fine, i can play CS happily without ANY ghosting (or blurring) and you know what the games like for speedy turning ;)

Im using one at the minute and I have watched the battle of Helms Deep in the two towers and played a load of Half Life 2. The monitor is simply amazing. No ghosting what so ever. I'm using the DVI.

I have a question, if there is Samsung due out with the same panel why are people bothering to buy the Hyundai? Basically physically it is f'ugly and Samsung have a track record with sexeh design's.

Mainly because I needed the monitor quickly - my old one has died recently, and the crt I was using as a replacement wasn't nice.

However, I don't see whats wrong with the hyundai, it looks nice enough to me, the only annoying thing is the controls.

Guess what I woke upto this morning - A LAZY PIXEL!!!! ***Imagine Psycho theme when lady is getting pretend stabbed***

Was stuck on green and was roughly 3" down and 4" from the left. Thank god a little rubbing and it's gone.

Still dead chuffed. And come on, ugly? I don't think so!
