I have to actually spend time looking for the one dead pixel on mine cos I keep forgetting where it is! Even then you have to get up really close to the screen as they are so damn small.

I even find I can use this screen with my contacts in which I never could with my CRT, don't be put off (if potential buyers read this)as you can and do get 1 dead pixel on any tft available it's all a matter of luck.

Apart from the fact that with most TFT's, you have to be really unlucky to get a dead pixel on delivery. With this Hyundai, almost every single monitor has at least one dead pixel.

Didn't I see a guy posting about a Dell 2005fpw with 9 (!!!) dead pixels?

I think the large number of people all reporting back at the same time has distorted the perceived number of screens. How many ordered but didn't post here?? Suppose we'll never know, anyway I'm happy and it's for others to decide what's acceptable to them...

It always goes that people with problems with a product are more vocal than those that have none! I have no problems with my beautiful little L90D+ at all, no dead pixels, no ghosting whatsoever in games (yes i'm a gamer) and every movie i've watched on here so far has played absolutely perfectly. If one dead pixel is going to make you totally unhappy with your TFT purchase, stick with CRTs.

And so speaks the voice of reason!

I'm sorry but 1 dead pixel on a screen of this size is hardly something to cry over.

As mentioned above many times, just because here seems to be a lot of people posting they have had problems, how many haven't posted and not had any problems what so ever?

nofear

O better yet use www.behardware.com which is the site you indicate but in english instead.

It seems that the panel is 6bit according to one person who has it and to the review site as well, which makes one wonder why they indicate in the spec sheets that it is 16.7million colours??

I initially was interested in this monitor but not quite so sure now, maybe I might get the samsung 21inch or wait for more updated panels coming in the future.

bad news/good news?

My single green pixel now seems to turn red sometimes which is much more noticeable:( However I'm holding out hope that this may mean it is returning to life:) *crosses fingers*

Get a viewsonic vx912, they are brill, and games look great at any resolution and no ghosting what so ever. Its almost as good as a crt accept for the dark rooms/areas in games. Thats its only fault.

Im so glad I didnt wait for the L90D+ to come out

Was your dead pixel present from the start or has it "developed"?

I got one blue dead pixel 1 inch from the top of my screen :( not very noticeable though and a greta monitor. The pixel also takes the form of white beacuse when i put my white cursor on it, it changes. What does this mean? And how long did ure guys pixels take to regenerate or do they just not?

As is in the sticky (http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?s=&threadid=17209584), if you try gently massaging it, it may come back if its stuck. Another way that seems popular is looping fast-paced movie over and over (eg overnight), and the changes may make it come back. However, it might be truly dead, in which case it will not be fixable. You'd have to pay a restocking fee to get it taken back by ocuk, as you missed the 7 day distance selling deadline.
