Quite shocking to be honest! It worth it to upgrade from i7 920 to sandybridge!

No keep what you have. You have a great chip in the i7 920. I'm going to upgrade myself early next year as i have heard Ivy Bridge is even better.

yeah true if i7 980x oc @ 4.2ghz would beat sandybridge oc @ 4.5ghz easy and maybe my i7 920 oc @ 4.2ghz would beat sandybridge oc @ 4.2ghz

Yup that's what I am thinking. Looking at that chart the i7 [email protected] is easily beaten by i7 [email protected].

Ok, this chart pulled from their site with my results, ignore their clock speeds as it's showing original speeds not OC speeds, but those are the max numbers with those chips. Not bad for a sub £300 chip imo
