Well, I proactively supported the ban on smoking indoors both in the UK and in Switzerland.

Do you want me to campaign for an outright ban on smoking altogether?

My preferred method is to make smokers aware that what they do is highly disagreeable to everyone else around them them. It is not socially acceptable to crowd bus shelters, trains station or the exists of building smoking noxious fumes to innocent bystanders.

But that is the problem, *many* smokers a selfish arrogant tossers that don't care what others might think. The smoking ban wouldn't have been needed at all if smokers were actually considerate and asked people around them, and moreover would innately realize no one else wants the stinking pollution in their face so would have gone outside without asking. But they didn't so now there is a partial ban. IF smokers continue to pollute public areas like high streets then I think an outright ban may be needed.

It's not really slightly is it? that's delusional, keep telling yourself that, more like half of smokers will die horribly and early from a smoking related disease.

I absolutely despise smokers.

I recently sat down on a bench and some woman sat next to me and lit up wofting her **** all over me.

I gave her about 30/40 seconds before I said ' Do you mind not wofting that **** in to my face' to which she apologised and walked off.

She was also French, get the impression they do it a lot more over there by her complete disregard for me.

My aunt's fam. smokes so much the house they only been in for 5ish years ALWAYS smells smokey even when no one is smoking there, every visit we came out smelling like smoke. Plus, they have a niece with breathing probs. & my cousin still takes her to their smokey house!!!

I dont smoke, but i know loads of fatties that stink far worse than smokers.

The smell of pure BO disgusts me and i pity anyone that has to live with a fat ******

I have a proposition. Smoker's all have to smoke in a stationary place. In doing so, they can coat themselves in crap without bothering anyone else.

I don't care if people think I'm being OTT. They are horrible things. I have no problem with smokers themselves but the second your smoke starts impacting me, there's the problem.

If you ban smoking in public, atleast ban drinking in public areas. The whole "I was walking down the street and got a sniff of some guys cig in my face is absurd", how about "that car is pumping out too much black smoke" or "that farmer mucking his fields stinks!".

I don't see how you can compare cigarette smoke to exhaust fumes. The exhaust fumes aren't usually blown directly in your face.

More importantly, man up? What part of inhaling smoke happily makes you more of a man?

Cigarettes seem worse to me than cigars or pipes, because often they look huddled over it rather than enjoying it.

Funnily enough all the people I have known or know who have BO are actually smokers and are not fat.

For those ranting about drivers, don't even get me started on smokers at the wheel, when I cannot have a drink of water at the wheel.

Of course you can, just don't get caught. My car doesn't have 30,000 cupholders for nothing.
