"I hate smokers" thread

I find you whiney, moaning anti smokers highly amusing. MTFU, it's a little bit of smoke, outside, in a nice open space, the worst you'll get is a slight wiff, and if you don't like the smell, boo****inghoo tbqfh, get over it.

I don't smoke by the way, I'm just not a 'puff'.

I love it when non smokers play the cancer card. My cousin died of throat cancer. He never smoked a day in his life, my mum's uncle smoked everyday and died peacefully of old age.

It's a lottery and if the odds are stacked slightly more against me? It's my choice.

True. Like I said, it's a smokers choice to do so and I wouldn't want to stop them. It's no guarantee either way. Indeed my tumour may have been cancerous (waiting to find out the biopsy results probably tomorrow, and have never smoked). But it does move the odds against you. I don't fancy dying while fighting for breath for weeks if I can possibly help it.

That's not the point. Why should they go out of their way for you?

You just come across as a self-entitled **** tbh.

LOL

Yes, I am the selfish one. Those spewing crap into my face are the almighty superior selfless individuals.

You come across as a dumb **** tbh.

It isn't fair to make others breathe in the nasty toxic smoke. It isn't fair to make someone's clothes smell. I don't expect a selfish addict to understand.

I hate the fact smokers are allowed up to five 5 minute breaks as well as their 45 minute lunch break whereas I'm allowed a 45 minute lunch break just because they are weak individuals who can't control their cravings.

Why should I have to go out of my way to avoid them? I'm not the one spreading death everywhere.

Over-reaction much?

If I'm sitting down or standing there smoking, don't come and stand / sit near me and complain.

The worst are those people who fake cough near smokers as if to make a point.

Hence my point about being stationary. Stay stationary and I'll happily go nowhere near you.

In a way it was better back then, as fresh air was brought into the plane instead of just being filtered and recirculated.

But yeah, couldn't care less if people smoke...its their choice at the end of the day.

Same here. Couldn't care less either as long as they stay well clear from me. I've seen a friend of my mum's die of throat cancer the doctors said was directly linked to smoke. She couldn't eat or speak due to the pain and just wasted away in the end. I remember sitting in her living room watching her ... her 13yo twin daugthers, her 11yo son and her husband .. and thinking, I hope the buzz with really worth it to you, because thanks to your stupidity, you're now going to die and leave a husband and 3 kids behind.

The next time a smoker sits next to me I might have to break wind to get my own back.

Unfortunately this may make me a little unpopular with my mum at the Christmas dinner table this year :(

I dont smoke, but i know loads of fatties that stink far worse than smokers.

The smell of pure BO disgusts me and i pity anyone that has to live with a fat ******

Same here. In fact, I hate any weak-willed people. Subconsciously I must be scared that their weakness might rub off on me. To be honest, fatties disgust me far more than smokers does. I can never understand how anyone can be a helpless fat **** continuously stuffing and stuffing and stuffing. Jesus, at some point you surely must look in the mirror and think to yourself ... I really need to put that damned fork down!

This thread is entertaining :p

I used to smoke but have not done for years (6-7 iirc) so I can see both sides of this.

But now smoke really annoys me, it stinks and sadly the majority of smokers ARE inconsiderate. For example walking out of central station in Glasgow there is usually a big crowd of people smoking and you cant help but breath/smell it. Rank.

If you want to smoke you should be allowed, but you are the one who should consider who it may effect. Nothing worse than seeing people smoking with their kids in the car.

I'm a smoker, maybe im the only one but i try to be as considerate as possible (up to a point) to non smokers. When i go outside to smoke, i stay a reasonable distance away from other people and the doorway. If im walking i purposefully move out of the way of people who are not smoking and breath the smoke out of their way. I smoke its my choice and i respect that other people do not want to breath in my second hand smoke or stink of it. But im not going to go too far out of my way just for them.
