I'm a non smoker and I've never even held one in my 53 years but I already think that smokers have been bent over backwards to help 'protect' us non smokers.
I came through a time where smoking was allowed in airplanes, in cinemas, in restaurants, in pubs, in work, in a Doctors waiting room, at the hospital, in a ward and everywhere else you could mention.
I made the decision to go into these places fully knowing what I would be smelling but now it has completely turned around and I make the choice to stand with smokers outside sometimes otherwise I'd have nobody to talk to.
To actually complain that smokers smell and they make you feel ill is going a bit too far after they are already made to feel inferior.

), from what I have recently found out it is now acceptable in the English language to start sentences with a conjunction.
