I need a new signature now

I like minis, and looks like a very nice little car.

But I wouldn't own one either, mostly due to the image thing.

Hate it.

Not for the car itself you understand, but rather that Mini's are always owned by the type of people i absolutely bloody hate. Organic eating, cycling, sporty, new build house, into football cliché to the absolute max type of people.

I just think they are the epitome of a boring as above new build "fashionable" lifestyle.

Completely an irrational hatred, but i have really grown to loathe mini's :/

What on earth is wrong with new build houses?

Nice car mate, quite like these, surprised by some of the comments here, you would have thought everyone was driving 68 mustangs and corvettes.

.
The couple that bought it literally bought it on a whim and then realised that it simply wasn't for them hence why they wanted to sell after only a few months of ownership.

Been there done that, does it rattle?

These look the part but unfortunately this is where it ends and for £11k and only 3k miles a year my money would be on something else :)

Someone buys a tidy, capable hot hatch and you get 5 pages of LOL OMG GAY comments. This place really is a fantastic representation of motor enthusiasts at times.

Anyway, nice looking car and I'm sure it is a hoot to drive.

A little sensationalist mate.

Most comments have been relatively balanced. Motors has always been an acquired taste. Thats why the exit is decorated with sparkling lights :p

Preddy sparkly lights :D

OP is a gayer
Gaijin is a fat balding chav
I am 5ft ricer with massive jeans around his ankles
Jonny lost his marbles after his prang
Lopez is a tramp
Robbie G is Mr ordinary
Fox is polishing his 2mm leather crease

This is Motors, and you either love it or hate it. I'm certainly the former! :D

I've never understood the rush to post negative comments in a new car thread. I know it's all about opinions and discussion but I think sometimes they should be reserved for other threads, not purchases...just seems a bit cruel and petty at the end of the day. It doesn't have to become a complete circle-jerk either, critcisms can be made without sounding like a snide 14 year old...meh. It's the same crap constantly repeating itself about the same cars over and over again as well...usually misplaced snobbishness or, like in this thread, a pop at the perceived sexuality of the purchaser. I don't think I'm the only on who finds that plain odd.

Never really regarded the Mini as a gay car, more a lifestyle car if anything. Somebody posted a grey one with lime mirrors and highlights awhile back, it sounds hideous but looked strangely cool.

Enjoy it.

me too.

The development round the corner from us is typical new house

Much prefer it to old stuff. I must be some sort of chav :(

Be quite happy with that provided it wasn't in a cramped street full of 900 other houses lumped in with some 'Social Housing' and made of flimsey materials.

Which judging by every other newbuild estate it probably is.

I'm not so keen, I like old houses actually, I think they have more 'character' :D ...but they really do have to be the 'right' sort of old house, like a nice half timbered cottage with a thatched roof or an old mannor house etc.
