I5 2500k - Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3P Overclocking

remove mb battery for 30mins and start over, then put battery in,load optimized defaults in bios and set your bios settings then at gigabyte splash screen press and hold alt and f12 to flash back up bios chip with main bios chip version so that both bios's have same bios version then try booting with two sticks

Managed to press Alt + F12... it does the Writing Bios Image..... 4080K OK... then resets? Is that how it's supposed to do it?

yes its best to always load optimized defaults after flashing bios too, then your all reset to enter your oc/bios settings

if your still having problems i would switch to another ram brand if i were you, save having the hassle of getting the crucial to run,but good luck

The Ram should be like this for dual with 2 sticks.. It does sound like you might have some other issue there though. Is this a new build ?

might need to use @BIOS if bios is larger than 2mb then once flashed go back to using qflash,i wouldnt say its mb id say its a bios issue/incompatibility with that make/model of ram,i would switch to corsair vengeance ram if i were you,its cheap and rma/or sell on your crucial ram? but its up to you

Problem is I have no other RAM here with me to test if that is causing the issue or not.
