If Putin wasn't worried about consequences and didn't care for civilians lives or his own soldiers then he would have just nuked the place from the get go.

Yup it's the dailymail and yes I could find sources where other countries are out of supplies in hardware or ammo but the mods don't really want me discussing the actual war itself so I'm leaving it here.

So NATO has almost been disarmed because the British have given up socks of operational AS90s which are going to be replaced before 2030 anyway?

If you're worried about it then move to a more rural area away from any military sites or other strategic targets and make sure you have some supplies. Humanity can likely survive even a large exchange of nukes but in the case of a massive exchange most people in the UK and Western Europe and coastal areas of the US likely won't.
If you're sufficiently far away from any of the blasts that they're not an issue and can mostly stay inside for a couple of weeks (ideally with lots of mass separating you from any gamma rays from the fallout) then it's totally survivable (initially), the issue then is what is left of civilization? It might well be the case that some pockets of civilization survive the initial fall out in the northern hemisphere (Russia and certainly China can't hit everything directly + all sorts of issues could occur from Russians refusing orders or nukes malfunctioning etc.. + their main target in such a scenario is the US) so some towns and even small cities may survive without being hit directly (albeit lots of the population perhaps will not be sensible re: the fallout etc.. just see how people coped with covid).
After that there's the (possible) nuclear winter stuff - this is all a bit hypothetical and potentially partly hyped up in the cold war as a semi-fictitious scare story but if there are issues with such a thing then the northern hemisphere might be shafted, you might want a boat in that case... Australia might be a target too but perhaps less so than Western Europe and the US, New Zealand is even less of a target for nukes (thus why some billionaires apparently have holiday/backup homes there) and South America and Southern Africa etc.. might be OK... though the issues there may relate to food scarcity in the event of a big nuclear winter... are you going to be allowed into New Zealand if Australia is already partially nuked and a bunch of Aussies are desperate to get there too? Is Southern Africa going to be overwhelmed by survivors flooding in from further North on the continent? Are Americans and Canadians and others further north in the Americas already going to overwhelm Chile and Argentina?
Essentially even if you can survive the nukes and subsequent fallout and even if you have the means to sail across the world and escape potnetially years of perpetual darkness and no crop growth in the northern hemisphere then surviving could still be very tricky... a billionaire who hops on a plane to NZ at the first signs of trouble is far better placed.
I dunno, I'm in London right now so I'm likely pretty much screwed if there is a full on exchange of nukes.

Derby will be gone due to Rolls Royce which means i will be gone which means nothing to worry about. If some how i end up surviving said blast I will wander around mad max style i am thinking chaps and a some kind of dog collar until the radiation brings me a slow painful death. Will probably break into a few peoples houses just to be nosey as well.

All we're seeing now is this fake appeasement the west does because its using a situation for its own ends.
Nuclear war won't happen. But if it does there isn't a lot of choice we have in the situation. Before we know what happened it'll have happened.
