Iiyama GB3466WQSU-B1 Curve (1500R) 34” 1440 144Hz VA panel FreeSync Premium Pro

Just got one of these and all seems good, no dead pixels. I am running it with an FE 3080 and a DP 1.4 cable.

Only issue I have noticed is some slight flicker on some shadow areas now and then but I hardly notice. It is a VA panel so to be expected.

[UPDATE] I have noticed some flickering in general. I have tried CRU setting the freesync range from 72 upwards.

Hi InfernoUK. I'm really sorry about that lack of response from the UK service team. They should be passing questions through to our technology specialists in Germany and Holland. Can you give me your RMA number that would have been supplied by the UK service team? I will simply send you a new screen out.

Hi I have PM'd you my case ID as requested, hope we can get this cleared up

Please forgive methat I havent read all pages.

I just received my monitor and Im experiencing some weird "scanlines", especially when I try to run the monitor with 100 or 144hz. The display port setting is 1.4 I have tried different DP1.4 cables. The monitor is on the new firmware.

Is this fixable or do I have to return my unit?

I don't have an answer but wondered if it is the card, game or screen or combination:
  • occurs in one or every game?
  • occurs on other monitors?
  • occurs with the monitor on a different PC?

1) It appears on desktop aswell, It does appear over the whole screen at 100 & 144hz and also in solid dark red, light blue and orange colors at 60hz.

2) No, I tested an LG34GN850, no problems there.

3) I sadly dont have another PC supporting display port available.

Got mine on Friday and have it setup with a nice colour profile that I am happy with although the colours did seem a little washed out initially.

Currently running a Vega 64 and have only really tested Hitman 2 and Kingdoms of Amalur. I have seen a couple of instances of flickering in menus, so brief that I could have imagined it, nothing worth posting about. I need to test more games when I have time and will report back finding.

But so far I'm happy with it.

Hi guys. I just recieved this monitor at the weekend. I found upon turning on 2 dead pixels, 1 been lower mid which is noticable where as the other is harder to see. Is it worth returning it as i'm wondering what my odds are of getting another with dead pixels. Its frustrating as I abolutley love this monitor and will stay with this model just unsure if I should accept it with 1 of them pixels standing like it does its bit annoying to find it out of the box so i'm just after a bit of advice on what chances are of recieving another and are these monitors known for pixel problems?

Thanks for reading

Received mine today. I originally ordered the gigabyte but it ended up being a 4 week wait.

I am very pleased with this monitor. I was coming from a 165hz MSI 1080p C27C4 so this is a substantial upgrade.

no dead pixels and from what I can tell the backlight bleed is minimal. I have been playing warzone for a couple of hours and have noticed zero flickering, also none within windows or opening any apps etc. Super pleased!

does anyone have any recommended settings in terms of gaming on this monitor?

thanks!

Just ordered one, should be here tomorrow. Same as some people have said above, was going to get the Gigabyte but then saw the long preorder time (and more cases of flickering compared to this monitor). Looking forward to getting it

Can you post what your settings are for the colour profile please? I’m pretty useless at calibrating displays! Thanks

For me it was the better review than the AOC from KitGuru, it has more lumens and the Gigabyte seems to be more like the AOC, not available and they pulled the Gsync support. The fact IIyama updated people's firmware was also good to see (pity it has to be returned for that).

Yep, exactly all the reasons I ordered the iiyama in the end.

Settings are quite specific to a persons taste, lighting and environment etc. I would suggest that you look back on page 13 as 'LRT' has some nice colour profiles that you can use and then tweak based on your needs. Profiles are easy to set-up in Windows. :)
