Iiyama GB3466WQSU-B1 Curve (1500R) 34” 1440 144Hz VA panel FreeSync Premium Pro

Thought id post another update on my issues with their support and my broken screen. The rep from this thread reached out to me and elevated the case, which was swiftly resolved in 1 day by actual Iiyama staff sending me out a new unit (its yet to arrive but ill report back if any further issues).

So essentially dont trust the service centre who told me there was no stock for over a month! But the actual Iiyama staff have been super helpful

Settings are quite specific to a persons taste, lighting and environment etc. I would suggest that you look back on page 13 as 'LRT' has some nice colour profiles that you can use and then tweak based on your needs. Profiles are easy to set-up in Windows. :)

thanks however it won’t let me view the settings for some reason, doesn’t show it on my Dropbox.

Just download the files to your PC and then just watch a Youtube video on how to load/install 'ICC' profiles in Windows. From there you can adjust the monitors settings to suit your needs, like if you/want a higher brightness setting, more colour saturation etc

Got my replacement monitor yesterday (one delivered the day before had a scratched screen). Perfect display so far! I'm not getting any flickering at all now (fingers crossed), I did swap out the display port cable for a different one though.

Does anybody have any advice to which overdrive mode is the best to use on this panel + any other recommended settings? Can't really find much information out there.

Just got myself one of these, used the settings LRT provided and the icm colour profile. Loving BF4 at 144hz and BL3 G-synced at around 110fps. Came from a LG34UM98 60hz IPS panel which I'll now use for WFH purposes.

Hey guys just got my replacement screen finally and all is good!, what sort of colour menu settings do you have on these screens? Im running mine next to my old dell VA 144hz screen and the colours are so washed out, assume its my error. I just have HDR turned on rather than any manual config. Do i just need to bump up colour contrast?

Would owners of this monitor recomend it to others? I'm currently running a Vega 64 with my likely upgrade path being a 3070, is the flickering still prevalent?

Decided to return the monitor myself. The flickering was just too much on a 3090, very noticeable when fps is varying a lot, especially between 70 and 110 fps. Newest firmware, even bought a £20 fancy Display Port cable and it did nothing.

It's a real shame because the colours and black levels were excellent. The other thing I disliked was the smearing effect, which made games look like they were running at a lower framerate than they actually were. Locked 144fps on my old TN definitely felt a LOT smoother than a locked 144 on this monitor.

Unfortunately I'm just going to bite the bullet and go for a higher end panel - the LG 34GN850.

I've bumped colour saturation up to 5. Colour setting is User. I have HDR off as HDR on looks worse to me. Colours look great on my screen, according to Kitguru this is a very very accurate monitor out of the box for the price.

I'd recommend it, using a 1080 and no flickering.

Strange, I think it's partially a hardware fault as my first monitor flickered (I returned as it had dead pixels), but my second one doesn't have any. Both on new firmware.

Also for the smearing, I noticed it is definitely way more prevalent with an overdrive setting of +2, not sure why Kitguru said in their review they noticed no difference to image quality.
