Went to pick up a cheap lathe that I’ll recondition and play with.



And then managed to bag deal on the century on this Lincoln Powertec 231c. It’s covered in red paint so I’ll clean it up. I went and got the gas bottle today sadly it didn’t come with that

Eurgh, horrible things. If the bleach like taste and excess salivating for the 20 minutes you have to keep them in wasn't bad enough, I was left with sensitive teeth for a couple days after as well.

My denon d2000s look worse than that. One of the sides has started cutting out. Need to tackle a repair soon!

Both lovely bits of kit, the exposed gearing on the lathe looks like a clothing disaster waiting to happen though, I hope you either machine naked or put a shround around the gearbox

Its not naked, it’s got the other half of the speed gearing and the motor with a cover but that’s not attached. I unbolted it to get it into the van.

£100 for the Lathe, £50 for the welder.
