If people can afford to spend that kind of money, go ahead and spend it. People should feel free to post what they buy, doesn't matter what price point.

My daughters Christmas present (this will be her first Christmas) cost me around £20, I'm still excited to see her face when she opens it, even if I couldn't afford something more
