He's answered before. He's lazy. If they both have their names on he doesnt have to swap around between copyrights on all the pics they take between them.

It begun when then went travelling, the did/do a travel blog together so made 1 watermark for all photos.

I always leave watermarks on and I cba to switch the watermarks around so we just made one for both of us. Still amazes me this crops up every time
