For a tenner it's fine quality really. It's thinner than others that cost a few quid more, but thinner is sometimes better for certain uses. The edges are stitched to prevent fraying, and the world map print is a nice touch. I have Aukey, Perixx DX-1000 & DX-2000, Corsair and other large mouse surfaces and they're all pretty decent to be fair. This one is the smoothest on the top surface of them all though.

The Perixx models last the longest in my experience, but cost a bit more.
Good to hear, been looking at this world map version and the Perrixx models to replace my aging OCUK XXL mat.

Bought a nearly new Logitec G403 from ebay to replace my ageing G400. Not had a proper play with it yet, but the scroll wheel feels so smooth and quiet compared to my old one. Its also not too different shapewise, which is good as the old mouse felt comfortable. Before this I have had 2 x Logitec MX518 :D.

How is the G403? I use a G400 at work which is great and and wondering as my aging MX518 at home could do with replacing at some point
