What sort of things have you got?

My main interest is aircraft and anti aircraft so mostly 20mm+.
As with all things I branched out as I saw interesting things, plus a few 'standard' bits.
Smallest is 5.56mm biggest 155mm.
As stated in photos all items are known to be inert and free from explosives, and are legal to own in the UK.

Left to right: 30mm Gau8, 50cal Russian, 50cal US, 9mm, 7.62 Russian, 5.56mm

That one on the left is a 20 pounder tank round.

Not specifically unfired, it really depends on what the round is. Common stuff I tend to only get a good unfired example, but rarer stuff like the 30mm Gau8 are almost impossible to find unfired.

Edit:
Yes, as maccapacca posted the left one is projectile and casing. Large projectiles like the 155mm don't generally have casing, they use powder bags - remember the scenes in Under Siege when the fire the 16inch guns - and yes would love one of those :p

Nice . They the 170's? I replaced my old 120's that i broke the headband of with a pair of 180's a while back.Cracking bit of kit, love the fact you don't have to mess about tuning them in like the 120's and they don't have the stupid auto off feature like the 120's that used to scream static noises down my ear when the transmitter decided to turn off during a quiet part of a film.

170s. I understand the 180s are better but are also open which is what I already have. Very impressed with the sound quality out the box so I'm looking forward to when they've burned / settled in :)
They took a little bit of fiddling with to get them working properly with the Essence ST. Initially the sound was dropping out on some parts of films when it was quiet but I seem to have remedied that..... touch wood.

i've got them had them for years great phones.

my advice, buy 2 pairs of good rechargeable AAA batteries an have one in the phones one in the charger, that way you never have to chrage them, the batteries that come with it will die quite quickly btw.

Thanks for the tip. They recommend 16 hours initial charging but the light went off after about 3 hours charge? :/ I'm a little confused with the charging at the moment. Sometimes the cradle turns off and the orange charge light does as well. Do they stay charging with the base unit off?

yeah the inbuilt charger is worthless doesn't seem to work at all, thats why i use an external one an 2 sets of batteries as it just didn't charge anything well. only real disappointing thing about them.

i have some energizer batteries they last a good 16-18 hours each so are easy to leapfrog with 2 pairs as they only take a few hours to charge i na stand alone charger.

They stop charging once full hence why the orange light goes out after a while. The cradle turns of after a bit if not connected to the headphones but they will keep charging until full.

Did your set come with a set of Eneloops? Pretty sure they come ready charged. I could be wrong though and usually are.

after a while they don't charge anywhere near to full, the ones that came with mine were some crappy 600mha ones changed them out to 800mah ones an they last far longer. but the charger never seemed to give them more than 3-4 hours worth of use. plus you cant use them while charging.

i think lots of cycles of partial charging kills the batteries as opposed to using till empty swapping over and charging till full and so on.

testing the batteries in the separate charger after charing in the cradle shows barely half charged.

Yep, Eneloops! (750MHA) According to most reviews and the instructions ( Yes I actually RTFM :D ) they require 16 hours. I'm going to use them without charging between uses and measure how long I get out of them.
I think I will heed Tefal's advice though as I need a new charger for other batteries anyway :)

yeah also the two plastic clips that hold the pads on are fragline, if you drop the phones (they some times slip off your head if you get startled by someone and spin around cause you're completely deaf wondering around with them on lol an they hit the floor the tabs can break, mine too ka trip down the stairs no both foam bits are held on with a little strip of electrical tape. the actual phone though is rock solid, i've dropped them on concrete, fell asleep with them o nan rolled voer them, fell asleep in the bath ith them o nan slipped udner the water all sorts an they stil lwork great and sound just as good, only those two little tabs broke, should really look if they do replacement muffs.

oo right, well i'll be ordering some tongiht. lol been like this for over a year and ive still never looked :p

fortunately the tabs are on the muffs not the phones so they're still fine for replacements. just remmber wqhen you've got them on an something loud on, you agree the easiest ambush target ever, an when your misuses/someone taps you on your shoulder you will **** yourself :p
