IMPORTANT ANNOUCEMENT TO SCOTLAND/NEWCASTLE/YORK REGARDING DELIVERY

After seeing there was a 3day delay on Tuesday I'm happy to say my card was delivered at around 2pm today .. Nice and shiny .. One of the bars seems a bit bent but nothing I would worry about. I was expecting Friday or next week so bonus! Let's hope everyone else gets good news too
i dont think DPD are working saturday or sunday to clear backorders, reason i mention this is the delivery i ordered on the 8th of december (it was wednesday) and i put next day from dpd at about £9 ontop i think? anyway it got dispatched on the 9th all great, and then it got stuck in a sortation hub by the 9th, i guess the sortation hub must have been down south, anyway i didnt recieve it until the 13th so if they were doing weekends my order must have been fairly far down the backlog list else i would have seen it over the weekend.
my feeling was that i should have got it special delivery through royal mail, i think i would have recieved it by that weekend. but i think sometimes i myself forget that they are the main parcel delivery company and arent all that bad.

Well my PC was being redelivered everyday for the best part of a week by DPD, the only time it didnt get redelivered was saturday and sunday, it arrived on monday broke due to being shipped from pillar to post.
Everyday it was sent back to the depo because there was snow on the bank i live next too.

I'm waiting on a delivery from sony sent on the 7th, the DPD van was in the street today I asked the driver if she had it and was told no but they will be doing deliveries all over the weekend to try to catch up. So they are putting in the effort to get parcels out it seems.
I'm now swithering as to whether or not to buy a new graphics card (as a present from my wife for xmas) or just leave it tbh, I dont fancy paying the special delivery costs when DPD would be free. ah decisions decisions lol

Well i ordered my Nas box today, already been shipped out of Ocuk.
Says delivery on Monday but I'm slightly sceptical about that

How long does it take for DPD to get their tracking codes active? Shipped at around 1-2pm and code doesn't work on their site.

you have no chance embed according to dpd edinburgh there only today dealing with the trucks from the 9th the one mine is on

Hopefully ocuk packaged it well as I have 2 HDDs in there, dont want then dead on arrival!
Silly rubbish weather
afraid its about right for glasgow, i recieved my package about 4 days late, even though i chose next day delivery
it should arrive before xmas providing you ordered before the 18-19th i'd imagine.

i'm more concerned with the "suspended deliverys" to me that suggests they aint delivering at all, so the back logs still going to be there when they start up again.
ordered on the 14th and mine has been sitting at hub 3 since the 15th
dont see the problem personally, the roads in and around Glasgow are fine, i've covered nearly 200 miles today in and around Glasgow and cant say i say any roads i would say are bad. and its been like that for most of the week.

The code won't go active until later tonight or tomorrow morning. My monitor was collected Thursday no idea when I'll get it.

I had something shipped with DPD on Monday that got here Friday, although that was a ExpressPak rather than a big parcel. You may get lucky.
