IMPORTANT ANNOUCEMENT TO SCOTLAND/NEWCASTLE/YORK REGARDING DELIVERY

The issue is that when it WAS snowing they had huge disruptions to their deliveries. So now when roads have cleared and there isn't as much snow about they are still trying to deliver the parcels that were supposed to be delivered 1 week+ ago. Just a knock on effect to stuff that's been sent when the weather has cleared up. Just hoping to get my card this week aswel. Oh well, worse things could happen than me not getting my new graphics card for a few more days :p

Because we werent told when we ordered
Because some of us paid £15 + for next day delivery
Because other couriers, are delivering and keeping there customers informed
Because people aren't buying petrol or home insurance, there buying something they are excited about receiving.

And don't give us that centre of the universe crap, we are customers buying from a business that provides a service, we have a right to complain and air grievances!

Rant Over:rolleyes:

How do you expect the sales guy from OcUK to forecast the weather and how the couriers which are a entirely different company are going to deal with it?
You're an idiot if you pay £15 to have something delivered next day when you know it's Christmas time and the weather is terrible, seriously this happens every year in England, this country does not know how to deal with snow, you should be used to it by now.
Lol, which couriers are keeping their customers informed? I've been using HDNL, DHL, Parcelforce, Citylink lately and each one is worse then the other. But the "customer" is always right and always thinks that OcUK are retards who don't know how to choose couriers, am I rite??
Yes, you can't wait a couple more days to upgrade to a Intel i5 760 from your intel i5 750. Oh god, the apocalypse is coming

You have the right to complain, but there's a difference between a complaint with just cause and a complaint because you're being an impatient little boy.

well ordered a monitor on 8th december. Chased it for a week with empty promises saying due to weather etc.. it was stuck. Has shown at my local depot since 10th and today DPD finally admit the parcel has been lost. Now i have to wait for 24hours before OCUK will send another due to an internal investigation at DPD. No gaurantee for xmas delivery now because of fresh bad weather.

surprisingly a free 5day delivery with a competitor that i ordered after the OCUK one arrived with no problems within 3days.

Not even been offered a refunded delivery. Shocking!

Bunch of thieves at DPD by the looks of it as last month my order was also stolen from their warehouse.

Yeah because you know it's totally OcUK's fault that your parcel was lost among thousands of others

I was wondering how long to give RM to deliver a 1st class packet sent by OCUK on the 16th. As a far as I know the roads between Bristol and Stoke were clear at that point, so I would have expected it to make it through by now, even with a backlog.

I ordered something for my wife the day after that had to come from Glasgow and that arrived yesterday.

Order the G19 mousemat and mouse bundle on Friday afternoon and received today in the glasgow G34 area so looks like glasgow depo 2 is catching up only 1 day behind :)
