Soldato
Looked a bit clunky but just downloaded from Gamepass so it looks worth a play for the novelty factor alone to me.
In my post above you can see what I'm getting, only at 1440p though. So anybody got the recommended settings for a 4080 to get this to run at 60fps with full PT on?? framegen seems to be a dud so far, maybe needs a patch?
14.5GB of VRAM used with path tracing enabled and that's just at 1440pMight wait till after Christmas to give it a go. There are going to be a lot of people disappointed when they try to run this, looking at the requirements
My word this is even harder to run than Stalker 2. Has to be the most demanding game on the market right now with Full path tracing enabled.
I can run it with my trusty 3090 but only with the following set up:
4k
DLSS Performance
Maxed out settings including path tracing.
Cinematic view (for extra frames).
I also reduced FOV to 85 to squeeze a couple of extra frames.
Frames capped to 30.
Lossless scaling x2.
Gives me a nice smooth frame gen'd 60 fps
The franchise hasn't had positive reviews since the 80s, not for lack of trying. I doubt it's nostagia. Being compared to what many would consider some of the best games of the last 15 years isn't a bad thing either .This is a classic example of where I wonder if people's nostalgia for the franchise clouds certain things.
I have none for the Indiana Jones franchise so I wonder if I played, it would I feel like I'm just playing Uncharted with an Indiana Jones skin on it (noting Uncharted took a lot of inspo and had lots of references to IJ)
I mean look how much talk there is about graphics and tech. Not much about the actual gameplay..
