Indiana Jones and the Great Circle (2024)

If you're playing the gamepass build, yes.
Weirdly, the first time I loaded the game up I did not have this bug with Frame Gen enabled

Subsequently I did, and remembered what had been said on here.

I decided to run it with Path Tracing on, as at 4k 'Supreme' settings, DLSS Quality mode enabled and with Full Path Tracing, I'm getting well above 60fps anyway. It's not really a game that needs 120fps.

Anyone know if you unlock some other takedowns later in the game? In the vatican, when in restricted areas it seems best to avoid enemies, rather than taking them out one by one.

You can get more unlocks yeah but you can either do field work/discovery stuff or happen across thm during main missions too, the vendors have guides to get more stuff too and I missed a bunch in Giza as the main mission progressed but in the jungle now so will pay more attention to them and unlock as much as I can as already have a whole bunch of skills unlocked.

Just a note for 4 series users, don't have Low Latency Mode set to anything other than OFF within NVCP.

I had it set to Ultra in Global settings, and was wondering why my GPU usage was so low, and why Frame Generation was borked...yeh, it was this setting.

Not sure if other games are affected by this, but I've set it off for everything now.

I can now run this with everything maxed out, full PT (except for CA, MB, etc) at UW 4K (5160x2160), with FG on, @ 90-100 (monitor limit) FPS.

With Low Latency on, I was only getting 40-50 FPS and FG was a borked stutterfest with low GPU usage.

Just checked and it was off already. But for some reason, the first time I tried framegen it seemed laggy. However, I'm running in a borderless window and G Sync wasn't set to work in windowed mode. Changed that setting and framegen now seems fine. Only running at 1440p but all settings maxed aside from motion blur and running great with quality DLSS, getting 120fps in the Vatican and 90+ fps in the jungle.

I really like this game but I do get why people are complaining about not being able to run it properly. It's using all 16GB of VRAM when framegen is enabled, doesn't stutter at all but 16GB VRAM usage? The 4080 super is already maxed out at just 1440p, so those running 4k at full chat can only do that on a 4090.

reviews are really positive, how are you guys finding it? thinking of adding it to my xmas list.

It's ok. Looks nice but it's nothing new or groundbreaking. A lot of the game is annoying clicky events and nice looking skyboxes. Everything seems to be built around he huge RT requirements which is a bit annoying.

Not worth the full price tbh.

I have on Globally, can I set different for this game?

Shame that devs think modern gamers are that brain-dead that they need to solve every 'puzzle' for them.

Simple locked door...let me look for a solution.

Indy...'try that handle up there.'

Thanks Indy, never would have thought of that.
A lot of those devs come from a country where a significant portion of the population thinks that Africa is a country and World War 2 was a war between the US and Russia, so that might impact how braindead they think gamers are :D
