I guess no way to disable RT? For old cards, ones with poor RT?

Basic RT is always on apparently it's part of the engine but path tracing can be turned off. why what card do you have.?

AMD 480. Doesn't load at all
Whenever I replace it, it won't be with a top end card so not expecting great fps. Intel B580 looks the most reasonble card, see if they improve drivers some games lag behind pretty bad, and wait to see what AMD bring in the new year. Also whether if Intel B770
Ah ok that makes sense then no RT on the RX480 so the game wont run at all

Yeah not impressed with graphics and gameplay on the windows dialogue box.

Guess its just the start but so far not overly impressed by the first 30minutes or so. Too much cutscenes. So far it feels like its been more of an interactive movie than a game, I get that there is a story to tell but that can be done through gameplay.
Please tell me it gets better than this?

You can't judge this game within the first 30 mins the cutscenes are well done are telling part of the story, not everything can be done through gameplay.

They aren't overly frequent and are usually pretty short.
Cutscenes usually get on my nerves but I haven't minded them at all in this.

It’s not a bad game but it doesn’t get the high marks everywhere seems to be giving it from me.

Think this is how I felt. It does get better.
I don’t think it’s my type of game tbh. Although I’m not sure what is anymore, but I can see why it gets good reviews etc
Gameplay wise, I suppose it's not really doing anything that hasn't already been done in the Tomb Raider games, only with less shooting stuff and more hitting people with random objects, but I'm finding it really immersive and the story has me gripped.
The environments are so detailed that I'm finding myself really wanting to explore every area.
