Indeed, £38/day for creche… To top it off my misses thinks we can afford to go abroad next year HA! Yeah Gower beach is about it and even then I need to save haha.
PS2 is free to play tho aint it? I enjoy PC gaming but I do feel I’ve never really found a genera I like until dayz! Really excited about pc gaming for a change, cant wait to be sitting there in my Christmas onsie and my santa hat caining dayz!

I’d only play it on the ps3.
Also Warz I’m happy to pay £19.50 for the chance to give it a go so I can make my own mind up. As I said above I’d spend that on poxy cinema tickets or a Chinese any other night! I’m actually looking forward to sitting down and testing the game.

Keep it for the TFU BF server I was hoping WarZ would be cheaper for a "pre-order" or pre-launch copy and build on the price as the game was built up over the coming months.

Thing is all i've seen so far is Sections, I haven't seen a large walkable map... I'd hate to purchase the game and find it's got loading for different parts of the map or something

I don't think people quite see that this is closed beta, it doesn't say anywhere that open beta will be only to people who have paid. I'd make a guess is that as soon as Open Beta hits then people who have signed up but haven't paid will get a chance. It obviously will not be everybody but by then people should have an idea if its the kind of game for them.
I have slated the game so far, to be honest it doesn't look anything special but i am willing to give it a go to see if its any good. I got the cheapest copy bought for me, so come the 30th if it doesn't change i should know if it was the right choice or not.
It is cheaper at the moment, this is for a limited time only but not in the way you mention as it's a one of payment. With the conversions etc the cheapest copy works out at around £12.50 which is not really a lot.

Either way we still have Dayz standalone, so long as i'm mowing down Z's and getting cool gear i'm happy
without going into great depth
they want the funds to finish the game
so your all going to dive into paying for them to finish your game by buying a alpha or buying to get in access.
this never hardly works. im out . will just keep a eye on DayZ.

I don’t know man….. I think they have been working on this longer than we think. There is no way they could have thrown this together so quick. The game play looks great this is one Alpha I cant wait to try!

Theyre just modifying an existing game so the timescale is pretty doable. Still not holding my breath, giess we'll have the first reports in a week.
