just got this , get walking to a town and i get shot or eaten , i havent got anything lol . Anyone got any details for vent/ts etc. Mic has just broken but replacing soon ! cheers
 
Ive decided to take a break from this game.

For me at the moment,playing this game feels more like a chore than playing it for fun...Nothings getting better,Hunt for a few hours to find decent stuff then loose it right before getting to the SZ by campers,sick of the hacking which is again taking over...etc..so no point in playing it.

Obviously il be keeping a watch on the dev updates (or lack off) to see whats happening and all that,but until some major improvements/updates come,im out

I don't want to turn this into a Warz hate/Dayz Standalone "gonna be awesome" thread,But i really do think unless Hammerpoint pull their finger out NOW and do something..this game will be finished by the time DZ standalone comes,as everyone will just switch to that.
 
game is soooo good when people are playing legit.

sadly it seems as though the majority aren't so public servers tend to be out of the question.
 
O well summer is upon us (looks out office window) know more sitting indoors playing games every night and having to put up with idiots like hammerpoint. Thank god hopefully when the summer is over this game is either dead or fixed. Really am bored to death of it now came on last night and turned it off with half an hour. Just thought whats the point. Thursday night was brilliant restored some hope only for it to be destroyed the following day.

Roll on dayz standalone.:D
 
Patch

The patch will be going live today at ~2:00pm PST and expected to be down until 3:00pm PST.


  • Skills have been added to the game. More info on skills HERE.
  • A sound is now played when picking up items.
  • Optimized the server rental menu to be more intuitive.
  • Updated loading screen art.
  • Added an eating sound for zombies.
  • Barricades and notes are now saved between server restarts. When the servers come back up, so will your barricades and notes.
  • Fixed a bug with some gear that was displaying 0kg weight.
  • Fixed a bug on the server browser page that allowed for filters to be checked but were not actually working.
 
Neil do you subscribe to every game update in the world or something ? every time there's a patch posted online (for this game anyway) you post it here within 2 seconds lol


and yes this is another FAIL patch no fix for loot balance, no fix for missing loot in half the towns, no HACKER fix, no backpack fix ; )
 
Yes, yes it is ( Oh and to mention, it's fantastic getting free tickets to gaming expo's! )

I was thinking of doing your job of a baiter, can you give me any tips? :)
