*** Infestation: Survivor Stories ***

It's a shame the developers had to be such idiots and that the game is rife with hackers. When it comes to actual gameplay, it's a lot better than ARMA 2 DayZ and more fun than what the standalone footage showed at E3.

Talk about a PR disaster.
 
I've had a couple of good hours on this game yesterday all seemed like legit fighting too Punkbuster has got rid of almost all cheating (nothing is 100% but i haven't seen any since it was introduced) based on what i've seen so far this is good news and dare i say it's better than pre December now = )
 
That is good news, but its all too late for me I think.. I could never trust these guys again to the point where I would spend any more of my precious time playing it.

Anyone want my stuff?

I think there's a problem mate, I can't log out of mine or anything as it's linked to Steam, so I have no idea how I'm going to get onto that and grab some of the stuff. :p

or I can meet you in game and transfer the stuff, but it will take forever, and no secure private server to do it on.. just run 2 clients as Carl says

EDIT 2: Derp, nevermind I found it. :p

Will not take that much mate incase you ever wanna jump back on, just some essential meds/food and a fair amount of backpacks ammo and guns, you have a lot of stuff on here dude! I'm surprised your finished with the game, this looks like a lot of work! :eek:

  • Black Boxes are now fixed!
  • Grenades are now working and will be spawning in game.
  • Grenades, Chem Lights, and Flare's will now attract Zombies.
  • Lock Boxes will now disappear if they have not been opened for 2 weeks.
  • Lock Boxes can now be picked up and put back into your inventory. This requires the lockbox to be empty.
Grenades :D

I lost an account way back October time I think it was, maybe November, for hacking. never ran a hack in my life-wouldn't know how :p

anyway, as I say I thought with PB and all that in place the random bans would have stopped! nearly scared to log back in just in case!

what's it like now for actual hackers, they thinned out any yet?

There are still quite a few hackers around, I've seen a no clipper myself phase into a building on a supply run but he didn't do anything else, didn't shoot me when he saw me weirdly.

I've seen somebody flying too, **** knows. :p
 

a new map? and from what I can gather PB is finally starting to thin out the more serious hacks.....

dare I say it, is this game on the up??

what's the loot spawns like these days? if it's anyway decent and anyone is still interested I might give serious consideration to renting a server, if only for 1 month, for the OcUK that still play this to do a bit of farming

edit: just actually looked at the link, and I got to say i'm actually quietly impressed....please please please hammerpoint don't fubar this
