However much HP try to convince us that this is improving, I don't think they can change, and soon enough they will be screwing us all over again.

As long as your expectations remain low though I guess that's ok ;)
 
its a lot better now than it was in 2012, spent a fair while playing it again after a 6 month break. but my god! they need to sort the running speed. i have almost all the top line of the skill tree but its so damn boring running from town to town because of the terrible run speed. stamina lasts about 35 seconds and takes about 3 mins to fully regen, its a joke. this is the worst thing about the game for me just wish they would sort it.
 
What happened to the cars and the underground transit thing they were working on?

They would certainly need something if/when they do a larger map, the running is tedious for sure.
 
Infestation: Survivor Stories, who's playing?

Bought this yesterday, seems quite good and quite realistic (zombie killing could be better).

On steam summer sale as well so get it and have a bash, maybe we could roam the lands together and try not get eaten haha.. Or killer by a bandit :(.
 
I find this game more exciting that DayZ. I spent hours wondering around endless forests in DayZ, Infestation is faster paced and more fun for me.

I dont think people like games where you can loose everything you have spend hours gaining. Personally i love it. The Steam forums are filled with people throwing their toys out the pram.

For £2.75 its by far the best deals ive had in the sales.
 
Could be transformed into the best game ever made and I still wouldn't buy it, the developer has shown they're completely dishonest and lack even a basic level of respect for the industry or the customer. I've no doubt the motivation behind the name change was as much to escape the overwhelmingly negative press the game received, as it was to avoid any trademark disputes.
 
I bought it to give it ago. We'll see what the final official verdict is!

So I'm at some sort of zombie infested camp, I just killed a zombie with my torch but it took forever! Where the hell can I get a weapon, there is no way I can take this camp with just my torch!

I've played it for a while. Got the hang of it but still think that this game wasn't worth the money spent on it. Have a look at some YouTube gameplay, that'll give you an idea of how good the game is.
 
Personally i think its okay. Yes the developers and owner of the game is a conplete tosh by saying what he said. But the game itself isn't so bad. I like the idea of being super careful with what you do and makes every decision count as it could be your last.

The game has its bugs and glitches like any other and yes the idea of having to buy ammo with real money sucks. I got the £7ish bundle which came with some gold to spend on gear and ammo and the alike. Though you have to find a gun first before you can even use ammo! I got my first gun by accidently manslaughtering some guy who was with me at the time. Safe to say i took his stuff and made it my own. Since then i have come across cross bows and snipers by raiding villages and houses for loot. Again having to be super careful not to be overwhelmed. I use night vision as a torch will just give you away to peope who want to kill you for your gear, Afterall it is a survival horror.

So far im impressed with the game and im looking forward to patches and new material.
