we killed quite a few last night was awesome tbh we even took out the two who sneaked up on us as we legged it haha! then after we got them 3-4 more ran up the hill and got me just as i was healing and running for my life, still gets you ****ing yourself in the action.
 
We will be bringing the servers down at 1pm pdt -7gmt for the patch. The servers are expected to be down for 1hr and the updater will down as well during this period.


New Additions

  • Zombies now have 3 different types of sprinting animations that they will play randomly when sprinting at you.
  • It is now possible to double click on a server to join it.
  • Added additional Zombies to the airport and removed some from Clearview.
  • Medicine items now have a 20 second global cooldown. Food items are not affected by this.
  • Added more sprinting zombies, globally.
  • Rebalanced player spawns at the Trailer Park.
  • Fixed some areas where zombies can noclip through objects.
Bug Fixes


  • Added player spawns to Goblin Peak and Blue Ridge Settlement.
  • Fixed server crash
  • fixed frequent client crash when exiting the map
  • Fixed sprint starting before a zombie has gotten up to running speed.
  • Fixed an instant zombie spawn in Boulder.
  • Fixed zombies running in place.
  • Fixed a client crash when loading the map.
  • Moved some spawns throughout the map that allowed players to exploit zombie navigation
  • Removed some vehicles from the map.
  • Removed a zombie spawn in campos that was ruining pvp
  • Fixed a bug that allowed players to get up on rocks in Trailer Park.
 
Any reason i can't update this?.. i tried googling/checking steam forums and their solutions don't work, i haven't been able to update it for about 2 weeks now.. atm, if i try to update it, it gets stuck on 185MB, then after a few minutes says, "failed to update files please try again later" it's annoying, :/ mates was doing the same but his updated the other night

EDIT: fixed, had to delete all the files, then uninstall the game then redownload everything.. :s very weird

Only occasionally, don't like being on my own :-(

Really is an enjoyable game, gets the old heart racing when you're near a town and hear gunfire. Still don't think the devs understand if they poured a bit of time effort and money into the game it would be a gold mine for them.
 
Nope.. havent looked back since I gave Omaeka my account.

Dont be too nostalic about this Carl lol, while we definately enjoyed some good times, we always knew it was doomed I think.

If by some miracle its fixed properly (and there are some major changes at HP) I would have another go.
 
As bad as the core game is, i've never had as much fun playing any game as I did with the guys from here/Just Survive. Roaming around in a group, exploring new towns, not knowing when we were gonna get ambushed, setting up a few choice ambushes of our own.

We had a right laugh when this game first came out. You/me/Carl/James/Hybrid and spills LOL good days (I don't know the guys who joined after I went). Like when I executed Neil79 in that supermarket haha. Good times
