*** Infestation: Survivor Stories ***

Not terrible and I've only had an hour. It's definitely alpha without a doubt but it feels cheap and weightless. Not experienced any fear like those first terrifying few goes of dayz.

hmmmmmmm, im just finishing downloading it now.

i never got that feeling from dayz either, but thats probably down to me getting frustrated with the controls...

You can say that all day long but if the basic foundations aren't right what have you to build on. I'll be playing tonight, hopefully I'll experience a bit more.

I totally agree with you. I think that it is ridiculous of them to say "on day 1 we're going into public alpha and then day 15 we're going into beta." They've no idea what issues or bugs will crop up during alpha that will need to be fixed. I think they've given themselves a hugely unrealistic target of getting this game out.

It just seems to me that they have realised the game is a bit naff and are massively cashing in on the hype. However I do really want to be proved wrong! Either way there's no way I'm throwing money at this until there's more info to go on.

defo not worth throwing money at right now as its not even playable for me...

DayZ terrifying? really? The zombies are the worst I have ever seen in DayZ, in fact they are laughable the way they move and those silly sounds they make. Ones in WarZ can't be any worse shirley

A Zombie called Shirley sounds absolutely terrifying to me!

On topic... I think the people who have purchased this already are crazy. The game is bound to fail. I certainly wont be going anywhere near it until its reached a proper release.

The timescale of which it has been produced is just ludicrous. Its to be expected that it will be full of bugs and unplayable for the first few weeks at least.

I got addicted to DayZ and I loved the game so for me it's going to take a lot of beating.

I played 10 mins this morning of WarZ and I've already murdered two people. The game looks pretty good, it seems a lot simpler in terms of controls and picking up items and what not which is always a good thing. Didn't see any zombies though but again I did only play for 10 mins. One thing I thought was cool was a player had his torch on and was trying to kill me and when I killed him he dropped the torch and it stayed on. Cool little feature.

Can't give proper judgement yet but I enjoyed my 10 mins.
