i think so and i found out by accident as im use to having nvg on dayz lol everybody i saw last night was using a flash light so dont think many people know
 
Hahaha decided to trust some guy called 'Willy ******', how i didn't see the bat to the face coming is a bit embaressing :D, this needs voice chat bad.
 
Spotted the War Z client on various filesharing places as previously mentioned, presumably (and somewhat obviously) you can't do anything with this if you don't have an account with Hammerpoint?

yeah they said they want it spread every were torrents etc, but you need a serial no to play it...
 
Ah gotcha, fair enough. They seem to be using the willing public to alpha/beta test, makes sense they'll use them to distribute their software too. ;)
 
The game is awful and the lack of good English in their forum posts scares me somewhat. I don't understand anyone that thinks it will turn out good. They noticed how popular DayZ was, had an Engine and have gone for the kill. But, it will not last as the game just isn't as exciting. I've played it a little and all you do is search towns with zombies hobbling after you because they cannot walk as fast as you.

I know it's "alpha" but the beta is in two weeks and it is no were near done. The damn server browser doesn't even work. Also, how can we bugtest if all we can tell them is "Derp, it crashededed".
 
Yup it's not looking that good, also use quick join. It seems the server browser isn't updating, so a full server is showing spaces.

Ahh well DayZ will do until standalone in a months time for me if this isn't fixed by beta.
 
So seems that apart from being pretty buggy and unstable at the moment that its quite good fun?
Think I'll sign up when I get home later, Herbski do you still have the list from your competition? if so you can have the spare keys that come with it

Edit: Damn in the two minutes it took me to post I get those negative comments, mehh its not too expensive so think i'll still give it a go

It is not fun. It's terrible. Why are people even recommending this game to anyone? Until it is released and not under the LoL Terms and Conditions and some stupidly enforced NDA you will not know how bad it is. You cannot get weapons because the map is so small, then when you do find a spot weapons spawn in the guy that got there first will just insta-torch your head in.
 
Renton, why not run a giveaway? Lots of people in this thread would love a free beta key to give the game a proper try...

Isn't that all your do in dayz? If you not noticed the developers are not English been said couple times on there forums.
A lot can change in a couple weeks plus we don't know how long the beta is going to last till release.

Although I'm not impressed with the game it's still something to explore and have a go. You appear to be very angry in your posts.
