*** Infestation: Survivor Stories ***

Well after searching and searching I finally find an M16 AND a Sig Sauer pistol. WOot!

I've just read about the global inventory. Is this a way to share my characters' gear? I can't see any way to do it on the Survivors menu screen - it says no post office nearby. Do I need to get my character to a safezone before I can save items?

After playing this game for a bit now,Is it just me or does it seem pointless playing?

You play for say an hour, manage to grab some gear then bam someone kills you even though you say "FRIENDLY"...then you start over again with nothing,So whats the point?

I can see people actually liking the risk part of this game, but i think they should also make a game mode where bandits are not allowed/cant kill each other.

I think an idea would be you can't kill people who are not armed, but unsure if that would ever be something they would think of adding.

So, in that respect, it's different to any other shooter because...? :p

When the Stronghold servers are released, players will have a lot more control over it. But what gamemode would you suggest without bandits? In it's current state, you'd simply have to just walk around, collect some weapons, supplies etc; hardly exhilarating stuff.

Sure, when quests and such-like are added in, it may be more feasible, but I think a part of this game is there is always that element of risk.

Plus, I believe that by killing people you will lose reputation. Lose too much, and you won't be able to go near safe zones, at least that's my understanding of it. So there will be benefits to not riddling each other with bullets.

Just got this today, played it for around hour or 2 and really enjoyed it.

Seems like Dayz just a tad better, and still in Alpha so can see it being amazing once released :)

Been watching a few videos of it to get a grasp of the new areas. Are there still crazy PVP hotspots or has it evened out a bit now?

I forgot I have two keys for this if anyone wants one? not sure if they still work? my bad :( first replies on here get them (you must have more than 100 posts though to be fair to forum regulars!)

Much better now the map has been opened up a bit more, before we were all crammed into a tight space. I can go ages without seeing someone now, of course if you had to bigger places you will find someone who wants to kill you :)

Just had a rather lucky surprise.

I logged into my female character this morning. She was in one of the cities, with good gear but no weapons and only the small backpack. It's been really hard to keep her alive as I've been surrounded by zombs and having no weapon makes you so easy to kill. Anyway, about 10 yards in front of where I spawned was a MASSIVE cache of gear: 2 M16s, 3 Mossbergs, 6 handguns, some ammo, 3 large backpacks and assorted other stuff.

I guess someone bought it big time. Or is it a hack to make a pile of stuff appear and I was just lucky to stumble across it?

Anyway, no time to play now sadly, but after hours of sneaking around I'm looking forward to racking up a bodycount on her later. :D

Really loving this game, 6-10 of us rolling through the zone most evenings we will all have to group up one night. Came on 99 last night asked for any OCuk guys couldnt see any names I knew from here.
