just played for an hour or so.

first go - ran about for 30 minutes without finding much. found a city. climbed a fire escape. got stuck (bug). fell off. dead.

second go - found some basic loot. starting learning how to kill zombies. got shot by a random. dead.

third go - found a hammer. fun begins. lots of loot. backpack full. some sort of shotgun. fire helmet. killed a massive pumpkin head zombie.

not bad for a first session. frustrated at first and there weren't many players on 99 but can see big potential in this game. hopefully be able to play with some of you chaps at some point.
 
woke up with a sore throat this morning so thought i'd have a go at some early morning looting, 4.30am. Joined a few servers but sadly most people just seem to server hop and get the good stuff. In the end managed to find..

4 shotguns
2 SAIGAs
3 AK
1 M16
2 Pistols
1 sniper rifle (M107)
1 MP5

all with ammo, not a bad little collection. Sniper rifle was the funniest, just sitting in the back of a humvee :o It may only have 5 rounds in it but it's the best in the game according to the Wiki so i'm not complaining :p
 
Can't get on the wiki at work. Have a few basic questions.

1 - Do you guys play hardcore?

2 - If you die (not playing hardcore) then do you lose everything in your pack? Or only stuff that gets get taken.

3 - Is there anyway to find out who killed you?

I choose normal, means you can continue with your character after an hour cool off

Yes everything in your back pack you loose.

3 - Is there anyway to find out who killed you?
Not that i'm aware of

Unless they fixed it on my hardcore characters I could respawn in a hours time even with them...
 
Two guys were shooting at me and knight at the airfield, I died!... Came back later all i had was a fireman's helmet and some guy started shooting again. I saw him and said all i had was a helmet, i dropped everything else. He kept on shooting, what was the point in that?, he basically said as it's fun.

Not long after my friend died as well so we both respawned with shotguns and decided to act on revenge!. I went prone and watched as knight went into the hangers, not long after mr Bandit appeared but some how he saw me then shots were fired. I turned around to see another Bandit behind me, probably communicating with his buddy on TS but unlike last time 3 shots to the face and mr Bandit was DEAD. 5mins later so was i :(

But i came back to find 5 shotguns on the floor and plenty of stuff :D, bonus
 
I think at the moment, well for me anyway seems that people are more scared of Bandits than Zombies. I know its still in Alpha so it doesnt really bother me that much.

Went into a town and headed for a big building, saw some figure in a window and it darted off so stayed well clear, was talking to people on the server and somone else went in and got shot! :(
 
I went to the airfield this morning at about 5am (real life time haha) and even with only 3 other players on the server I was pooing myself that someone was watching me.

Only found an AK and MP5.

I thought the down choppers and jet had M4s and M16s in them?
