Integra Type R DC2

He must own a lude then? because any sane normal person knows a teg is a superior vehicle.

Edit- except for you of course.

The guy has tried both and preferred the Prelude, what are you guys arguing the toss for? It's a similar recipe but executed in a different way, his call.

This is assuming he did actually try both, and i'm not shooting myself in the foot here.

Ask jonnycoupe, he'll tell you

Honda R had it as a running battle/banter really, plenty of owners with opinions on it. I think the concensus was a bb1 lude with lsd offered a good package for less money than a teg. Lude wasnt up my street when i drove it but its one of thosw opinion thing. The cars were often similar pace on the track days.

Im certainly not a lude champion i got a SiR teg which sat pretty much between the cars.

Relentless only quoted me as im an ex HondaR member rather than someone to support his point so dont read it wrong! :)

Its good to know there are people that understand opinion on here and dont follow the typical "Burn the witch" attitude so thanks but dont worry I dont feel bullied by these people which is how they want to make others feel, its actually quite amusing to watch them team up and take on the school playground again, i'll bet half the people that have posted havent even driven a Prelude/DC2-R never mind owned any of them they just feel like they have to post to be part of the crew

The intention was not to make you out to be supporting my point which was obvious, it was because you would know exactly what I meant when I said there was long running banter about the two cars and its not just me that prefers the Prelude as it was being made out to be in this thread, there are many others that have said it in the past and you know it

Superior vehcle? I wonder if you know what your on about at all to come out with such a generalistic comment? Why is it superior? Because it has cheap and nasty looking Recaros, a Type-R badge and good handling out of the box? Any car can have good handling, just not always out of the box. Why dont you tell Performance Autoworks to run a DC-2 over their Prelude

I know. And i agree.

But did you not read the posts after you said my name though?!?!

People were making the assumption i would champion your point and hence i said dont read it the wrong way. You are a sensitive fellow arn't you?

Not really no, i'm actually quite the opposite but I must admit I do find the school playground attitude of the motors section forum very interesting and for some reason enjoy being on the receiving end of it by people (not you) but the majority who do not have the foggiest idea what they are talking about but join in anyway

Someone has already passed on the memo re: superior vehicle ;)

I think you've totally missed the point in what I was saying there about the general attitude of the motors section and how I find it interesting but you would make it out to look like that wouldnt you, hence why you have prooven my point

Given it's their entry into the Vtec Challenge I assume it's replaced the Prelude for race / track use.

FWIW I think you're pretty far off the ball on the Integra vs Prelude debate, i've driven both and the 'lude is too dilute, it's softened too much and it sits in a funny no mans land between 'hot hatch' and sports tourer. Still, each to their own.
