Yeah I'm going to try and wait a bit as well and see what everyone thinks before I jump in head first. If I don't get one soon I think a good time to get one will be when Windows 7 retail is released. I'm going to have to do a format anyway and it seems a sensible time to upgrade. But thinking about it the other day, it is a lot of money to spend on the basis of such a quick decision anyway. So it makes sense just to wait it out a few days at least and make a decision later.

Same here. I was very, very tempted to order one after reading the reviews and then realised I;m going to have to do another re-install come October so I may as well wait until then.

They might be cheaper/and or something even better out.
