If you're interested when the Intel X-25M G2 solid state drives will be in stock, your best bet would be to either send Overclockers a WebNote or post in the Customer Service section. You will get the quickest response using those two methods.

Apologies to ask here but I didn't want to start a new thread.

I would like an SSD for my MacBook and it's a shot between the Intel 160 or vertex 120.

Thanks

@ann3x:
Shipped today? That's confirmed? OCUK still says it's pre-order! Unless they've got new stock and fulfilled the backorders and have no stock left over!!? Please confirm!! Thanks :)

Couldn't hold off any longer, Ordered myself an 80GB G2 which should arrive Friday. Grabbing Windows 7 pro from my university MSDNAA overnight (Gotta love legal free software! )

Planning to rebuild my 2 year old Vista gaming comp install with an eye to eventually moving the intel onto my laptop and upgrading the gaming comp to something even better next year (>= 256GB worth of Either RAID0 SATA, or a PCI-E SSD, depending on price).

I'm planning to do a couple of youtube vids to show the differences in loading times that the SSD makes.

Gave up waiting for stock here and ended up ordering an 80GB from elsewhere. Should be here for the w/e and going to stick Win7 RC 7100 on it for now, though might partition and stick XP on as well.

Still tempted to get the Crucial M225 256GB as well when/if they come back in stock.
