limited edition = all goneI'm assuming sourcing one of the Intel Limited Edition cards by Christmas is going to be next to impossible?
In the same ballpark once you add VAT = £237.60 around the cost of two large winter spiced Latte extraRRP $250
=
£250
american prices are pre sales tax tooRRP $250
=
£250
That's best case scenario at this point I'm afraid.RRP $250
=
£250
Another thing I like is the establishment of 12GB of VRAM at this price point as the norm.
I think it is going to be hard for Nvidia to try and sell a 5060 with less than that. Hopefully it will nudge things up along their entire 5000 series.
I preordered the Intel card on Tuesday evening, I have no idea what’s happening with the order. So, I pre-ordered the intel card thursday midday and the order just says order confirmed. I'm probably not in the first 50, am I in the 150 cards you said you'd get by the end of the week? Or a future shipment you have a commitment on? Or just in limbo? Thanks.
The price position of the B580 in the US is a bit better than it is in the UK. RTX 4060 pricing starts 16% higher than the B580 vs 4% lower in the UK. The 7600 XT is 36% more expensive (UK 20%), 4060 Ti 60% more (UK 36%), and 7700 XT is 60% more (UK 48%).
This is why all of the US reviewers are gushing over the card. One retailer still looks to have 6750 XT stock at a reasonable price. But that aside, the B580 just blew everything below the $400 mark out of the water. In fact, on the Nvidia side, it just made everything below the 4070 obsolete (the 4060 Ti is faster, but not by much and it has 4GB less VRAM. For an extra $150...).
£250 is still a decent price. But it's not quite the knockout punch it is in the USA.
Everyone forgets prices in the US don't include sales tax (the US version of VAT)
$250 + 20% VAT = $300 = £240 at current exchange rate
The US price isn't far off the UK price.
