That's impressive, as that's around 160GB/s in terms of memory bandwidth whereas 6000 is around 96GB/s.
 
just noticed someone posted the prices already.:p Hope Intel CPU perform well to force AMD to releaes the X3D parts early.

I think AMDs focus might be Turin, Instinct and laptops and AI things. Lots and lots of AI thingz for the peoplez.

Good - hopefully it's enough to slow the godawful CAMM memory idea, whose supposed main reason to exist was "because fast memory is hard"

I'm looking forward to the CAMM2 module, as I think it is an interesting idea and they seem to have listed capacities of up to 192GB (Micron will be releasing that one up to 9600M/T which will be using a CKD for those speeds) on it. In terms of memory speed (M/T) is a good concept as it means shorter traces, so, in theory, it should mean higher M/T & improved latency but it will need real-world testing.

As normal, I'll get one for tinkering about which will probably be the Asrock OCF CAMM.2 board.

From personal experience with the current SK Hynix DIMMs, I normally hit a wall of around 8800 / 9000 on the current Z790 platforms and around 8000 on the Ryzen 7000

Above those needs a lot of voltage, faffing around with ODT's, PLL's etc..

Try a 8700GE. Ludicrous speed.

Those are a single SOC, as they are pretty much a laptop chip which is why they can get those high speeds.

I see zero point in buying just to clock it that high when it's rubbish at everything else but that's going off-topic.
