Intel Core Ultra 9 285k 'Arrow Lake' Discussion/News ("15th gen") on LGA-1851

I could do but it’s likely to be bad
Whatever. Just use high performance power plan if you'll do it. Here's the savefile, just do a capframex recording driving straight from the starting point for 50-60 sec. RT ultra preset (no path tracing), 720p/1080p+DLSS or whatever that makes it CPU bound. Maybe 2-3 runs to see the consistency if you don't mind bothering.

Terrible CPU! Slower than 14900K in games. Very boring, will get trashed by Zen5X3D and absolutely worth ignoring considering it's a one CPU socket.

lol

I'm calling BS on that chart a few posts up numbers as there's no way a 14600K with a 200mhz bump over my 13600K changes the scores that much.

Oh the 14900KS position as well.... wtf is this lmao.

MLID: "I've spoken to several reviewers and game developers and across the board the performance is bad with arrow lake losing to 14th and 13th gen in gaming, plus results tend to be inconsistent between runs and there is lots of instability with games crashing, windows BSOD and a couple people even told me they got kicked from online games on the arrow lake test bench because the game thought they were cheating. I've spoken to someone at Intel, they don't think there is any hardware flaws, but the software and microcode probably is in a bad state"

I'm running 10.0.26100.2033

Actually just realised I was using the balanced power plan, maybe I should have switched to high performance before doing the benchmarks. I saw a post on the overclock.net forum that you should use Windows 11 preview build 2152.

Something not right with your setup, balanced or high performance I'm getting nearly 100 FPS more than you in CP2077 with the same settings with a 14700K on stock profile and Gigabyte 4080 Super OC at stock.
