Intel D975XBX

Doesnt seem very good when paying 140+ for a motherboard for it not to come with anything and just in a brown battered box? :/
 
you get a bunch of cables lol and a couple cds.. the brown box was quite flimsy and it had gaps in it...the mobo was wrapped in that anti static bag and bubble wrap though
 
premium brown cardboard with that premium brown tape wrapped with a lota love lol


thats me got everything set up except the processor yay

Mine came with a manual all the gubbins the front facia cd's floppys etc..all in a retail package too.... :confused:

Confused about the brown box TBH
 
I got a couple cds and a couple cables and they dont look anything like that...
the brown box was torn open in front with citylink tape all over it... I didnt get a retail box with all those cables that you have...mine looks very different...basically the brown box is just the brown package
 
so essentially I got oem version ....either that or city link have a lot to answer for!


hmm wonder if thats why mine cost 139 including vat and the one on the site now is 158.57 including vat

same here guys, got a brown box, that was taped pretty badly, with my accelleroX2 inside which i ordered aswell... got normal ribbon IDE cable, not a nice braided one, 2 red sata cables, no manual just a piece of sticky paper with the mobo layout on it. pretty upset that i didnt get the 3.5" usb bay:(
 
thing thats annoying me though is the box was completely bashed in and has city link tape wrapped all over the box where it is burst open...half the front of the box.... doesnt appear to be any damage on the mobo but Ill have to wait till I get the conroe to make sure

That sounds dogdy m8,you pay £150 and it comes in brown box and no manual.
 
lol I hope it is the oem version though and not the previous version to 304

well it says it is on the invoice so ill just have to take its word for it

actually ill take a pic from my mobile phone upload it...wont be very detailed but you will get the idea

I'm not going to upgrade now, will wait till august/sept,not paying £160 for a motherboard that arrives like that,wait till more motherboards out.
