Baseclock listed as 4.1Ghz :eek:

Core i7-4790k fc-lga12c 4.1ghz

$386.95 = £229.46 + 20% = £275.00

Hopefully closer to £250 due to early hike up in USA..

The Broadwell's should be out around Christmas/New Year and will work with the Z97 chipset as designed for them but not the Z87 chipset.

The next CPU generation will be Skylarke, expected 2016, and this will require a new chipset.

Unless you need a new CPU urgently or do not want to upgrade your motherboard I would wait for the Broadwell CPU's.
 
Wow this sucks, Has messed up all my plans if its true, Really can't wait another couple months. Heres to hoping it is fake.
 
I'm in same boat as some of you other guys, got everything apart from mobo and CPU. Just waiting for refreshed i5, But not sure I can wait it out much longer lol. I'm only doing a 4ghz clock anyway so shouldn't have much issue. Aaahhh what to do?
 
I already got my Mobo, just need CPU, i hope they release some info, Why would this be the only site reporting it if it was legit ?
 
This is so annoying. I was gearing up for a new build in June with devils canyon and now my plans are on hold. Thank god I didn't preorder anything anticipating it in June.

On the plus side I should have 100 posts by September to qualify for free delivery from overclockers :cool:
