INTEL RAPTOR LAKE NOW AVAILABLE TO PRE-ORDER !

No its not.

$589 / 1.07 = £550 exc VAT, with VAT that is £660 Inc. VAT, as prices leaked are excluding shipping and handling to the UK, plus margin it is not high at all. Some competitors are close to £800, OcUK is cheap and is been as fair as possibly can with prices on the latest CPUs. :)
fair enough, pre ordered all the same ;)

Well DDR5 is the way to go looking at benchmarks. Raptor lake is on a dead socket, no upgrade path after it, amazing right?

Moving goalposts there, Raven! You were writing about the price! Now that you realize 13th gen, ddr4, z690 is far cheaper, you've changed subject to performance!

I think Intel have performance covered too, lets circle back to this once reviews are out and compare ;)

7950x still looks like it will have the multi core workload win but than again Intel is cheaper, gaming intel with the lower end seem pretty good of course need to wait for reviews shame its the last chip for the platform

good for competition AMD really need to fix pricing if the reviews come out good :)

Yeah lets but like normal you will be no where to be seen when proven wrong again, we all still waiting for your 11th gen cinebencgh scores that never tipped up. If you best whether you are going AMD or Intel you buy DDR5, considering you have bought what 2 motherboards and now 3 high end Intel chips in the last 2 years i think you should be the last person going on about DDR5 pricing. If you are building now and plan on making it last go DDR5. Gaming red and blue will be the same, MT goes to 7950x but while using less power

Till AMD release the 3d version just going back and forth

But they need to sort the pricing if Intel's performance holds up
x3d version will probably cost 1500-2000 knowing AMD and they only really help at 1080 anyway

RPL 5-15% faster in games then ADL. Zen 4 5 to 16% (that i have seen) faster then ADL in games, should be pretty much a tie i expect
12700k was faster in a bunch of games, from the 12 game average or whatever it was I saw it seemed the difference was single digit fps
