INTEL RAPTOR LAKE NOW AVAILABLE TO PRE-ORDER !

Why? do you need then extra 4 Ecores that badly? It will be costing you min £180 after selling the 12600k.

The L2 cache is over double the 12600K, and a small increase to the L3. I understand what your saying but I'm just the kind of person who always upgrades to the latest gen. :)

It's hardly beating zen 3D in most of these games, imagine zen 4 3D, and you can slot them right in to your 2025 and beyond supported am5 socket.

x3d version will probably cost 1500-2000 knowing AMD and they only really help at 1080 anyway

12700k was faster in a bunch of games, from the 12 game average or whatever it was I saw it seemed the difference was single digit fps
Depends on that game, if you look at Intels slide there is 0 difference in some games between RPL and ADl. Just backs up what i said that in gaming it will be a tie

Yes a very cheeky slide and reality them numbers at top are misleading as they are comparing to 5950x not the best cpu AMD has for gaming currently and even then they clearly picked games that work in their favour again.

Really hate these games they are all playing with their graphs and slides.. and I mean all of them from AMD, Nvidia and Intel.

I see the point but to be fair they do include the 5800X3D on there. It’s not like they are just ignoring it completely. Maybe it’s just around positioning, I.e the core count of 13900k puts it against the 5950/7950.

I mean did AMD even show the 5800x3d in any slides? I don't think so, Intel had the bells to atleast show them loosing to it in some games.

Went ahead and ordered a 13700k, 470 quid for a 16 core is a yes please for me.

According to average over number of games reviewed on zen4 it beats the 5800x3d just slightly so don't will be much in it

They showed the 13900k the 13600k you will think will perform lower and the 7600k is right there so will be interesting just not as clear cut as some would make you believe

That's what I was thinking and zen4 beats it over number of games could depend on the games chosen but cant see much in it between both

Surprised how close the 5800x3d is in Intel's slides but could be the games they decided to show

Says a lot really, if they had to try and hide the lines for the X3D, an that is a 13900K vs a 5800X3D not a 13600 etc. Seems like they know they can't regain the gaming side of things as easily as they'd like. Great if you like games I suppose.
Hidden? it;s a stark contrasting colour compared to the background how is it hidden?

It's represented completely differently than the other 3 CPUs with a small dash  There's no reason to represent it that way, I don't think I've ever seen it done before. It can only be intentional to try to minimise the visual impact of its comparative performance.

What an odd way to represent the 5800X3D.
No really. Originally, each game had 4 bar graphs that included the 5800x3d. Internally, it was fine until final review. And, wait a minute the 5800x3d dispariages the 13900k. Let's remove the 5800x3d from the graph. "Over-ruled!" Ok, lets modify it as a line graph and make it a hybrid chart instead. This is acceptable.

Now, I'm just guess as to how this came to be. But who knows right?

Good job boys, no one will notice a thing.....

Pre-ordered 13700k with z690 Mobo and ram, from memory (its been a while) they will all get shipped together yes? so they hold the other stuff till the CPU is released on the 20th yes? Dont want the other stuff going out of stock while i wait.

Was looking at Z790 but competitors that have them showing have crazy prices for very little real world advantage I can see.
