Intel to launch 6 core Coffee Lake-S CPUs & Z370 chipset 5 October 2017

Every thread these days is turning into these arguments.

Even when no one has even a clue about the product due to nda.

I'm not.. i have an Intel CPU, so what?

You can't wait to go back to Intel, i can't wait to get this miserable 4 core out of my case, its an insult to my 2.1Ghz GTX 1070.

If you had got the 4790k you wouldn't be in this position :)
However if you think ryzen is going to be your saving grace at 1080p 144hz then you are mistaken.

Old and Dead-end CPU.

I know what Ryzen can and cannot do in comparison to mine.

By **** post you mean anything posted that requires an IQ of over 90 to understand.

No, just people posting without anything to back it up. Yesterday we had the 1700 on par with the 6950x today we have zen having the same IPC as kaby.
I'm all for discussion but dont get pulling things from your arses.

I have an Intel cpu too, so I think personally all those that have an amd cpu should leave this thread and allow us Intel cpu people to discuss Intel cpu business :D :p

Especially those who have recently brought amd and have come to regret it. ;):D

Sorry but it doesn't seem like you do. You massively overhype the Ryzen, despite not owning one.

Like I say, I like my Ryzen, but core for core I know it's behind Haswell overall due to clocks. Which is what I've always said. I'm happy to concede I've got faster IPC than Haswell, but my clocks are certainly lower.

If you're desperate to ditch Intel and jump into an AMD set up, I'd wait for Zen 2 at the least. Potentially AMD can gain a cool 20% per core quite easily.

As I said, no competition brings little to no innovation.
If ryzen was released 3 years ago imagine what we would have now.

How about this? If intel were to keep pushing and have not stagnated the market where would ryzen be now? It would be another FX

Am I the only one here to like status quo? If AMD doesn't release Ryzen, then the 2600K would have been still kicking ass, saving me lots of money upgrading. :D
