Intel to launch 6 core Coffee Lake-S CPUs & Z370 chipset 5 October 2017

8350k after delid, 10 deg cooler, but 1.3v for 4.7 and can still hit 90 Deg on one of the cores with Prime. Games and Cinebench are much cooler, reading about this Hyper 212, it's not up for the job, got a H115i in the corner for my build next month, time to steal it for this build. These things always start out cheap.....

Quick and dirty 4000mhz, not tried higher

What is this witchcraft?
I cant boot at 4000mhz CL19

Never mind, just seen you've hit 4k on mems.

Try loading BIOS defaults and then:

  • Input 1.15 for VCCIO / System Agent and 1.4v for memory.
  • Set mem frequency to 3866
  • Manually input your DRAM timings for 4266 (so in my case - 19-19-19-39-2T)
  • leave tweak mode on auto - F10 and save changes.
  • Boot to windows and restart
  • Enter BIOS and change to 4000Mhz - F10 save changes and load into windows

For me it was VCCIO and SA needed 1.25v to get that. Going to try get timings lower and then try for 4266, though I doubt its going to be easy.

Interesting. I only needed 1.176 for SA and 1.184 for IO, according HWinfo - I had set 1.15 in BIOS for both, however.

You have a unicorn :)
Tbh, even at 1.25v its still lower than the stock voltage and 4.7ghz on all cores is more than tameable on a h100i without a delid.
I suppose 4.9ghz is achievable but in the quick benches I ran at 5ghz, the difference was minimal.

Did you use liquid metal? I did mine today and have about 25C lower temps on my 8350k. Corsair H80iv2 AIO.
