from CptStig on ocn, what a board!
I agree, 7980xe seems to be binned pretty high.I don't disagree, but thats expected given the chip.
However Ryzen 1800X boosting 4.1 on 7 cores, and running fine with 3600C15 ram, is tad rare.

my potato drops 15-20*C after delided.
Mine runs at pretty high volt tho 1.456-1.472v under with 1.47v llc6 in bios. Not that good of a cpu tbf. Your if I remember correctly runs at 1.41v 5.3Ghz?Same... similar volts and 5.3ghz doesn’t exceed about 65c under stress. Worth the 5 mins it took me with a Stanley blade.

It's starting to get a bit ridiculous tbh. I'm hoping Overclockers put the price back down around £350 and I will pre-order then.Lol there are loads of stock of these now in various places but they all want nearly £500! What a bunch of *****. I hope they sell none.

Ocuk have a great price on the i5 8600k at £320. nice £70 markup over msrp.
That 8400 I picked up at £135 looks a right bargain now.
